SOUTH. LAND. SOUTH. LAND. SOUTH. LAND.

TNT replayed U-boat the other day and I'd forgotten how, well, MFEO John and Ben are. I remembered the awesomeness of the actors and the show, but the gay. HOLY GAY BATMAN!

Very interesting piece by that marine - I have to say many of the points he makes are very valid, and there's a whole mythology of an enlisted army that casually covers up the way the enlisting proceeds, and who enlists. And he makes his points with great articulacy. Nice link - thanks.

Robert Duvall!! And Michael Douglas. Natalie Portman on the other hand... Noomi Rapace, talent aside, has some pretty incredible features. Is Fincher directing the trilogy?

Useless info of the day: apparently Magritte's "Le Fils de l'Homme" is a pretty good "illustration" of prosopagnosia (neurologist point of view). Some analyze it through a religious angle. Idk. That was a damn good fic.

(Blitzkrieg and über alles, dude!! you're killing the holiday spirit :)

Thx for the recs. Also, I happen to find the words mean, standard deviation and normal deviation particularly ∑exy. Especially when associated with morbid diseases. I get all tingly inside.

I honestly couldn't tell you anything about the American adaptation of the Millennium Trilogy as I'm so horrified that they're doing it in the first place I'm just like >.<

To me the Swedish adaptations are the definition of what should happen and Hollywood's just totally ignored everything about the book by casting flipping Daniel Craig and whomever that American girl is.

Um, have you seen New York Magazine's December 13th issue? Cause it has Ryan Gosling on the cover, and an article on why Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Tom Brady (amonh others) are totally rocking.

Yes! I have seen New York, and Ryan looks amazing. But he always looks amazing. And I love that article with Joe, Tom and Jesse Eisenberg.
