I know they keep talking about that half-stroke versus Cavic just floating in, but it seemed damn questionable to me.

I'm with you there, but the commentators were talking about that electronic touch pad that determines placement, so I'm thinking it could be true. I don't blame people for questioning it (because even in slow-mo, I could not tell at ALL) and if they need to file a dispute, so be it.

Two items of note:

1. I may have written the Michael/Ryan story today. Maybe. I have to sit on it a day or so to make sure there's nothing that I've left out in this go around.

3. Nate's book arrived today. I have read 30 pages and am fairly sure that a) I'm in love (with a conservative republican, my parents would weep) and b) that reading this ahead of GK has already explained more about the Marines than I've gleaned from 5 episodes of GK.
