1) I wrote Peter/Nathan yesterday. Again. I am clearly hooked. scribblinlenore I told you it wouldn't take long. Hate the Sin, Not the Sinner. ETA: I also had some thinky Nathan & Peter analysis for episode something or other. The one with the the Sunday brunch. ( Oh, Flying Petrellis, how are you so awesome? )

It's funny isn't it? I've actually seen a few people comparing Tim to Jordan, which is what brought the connection to my attention. Personally I just hope Katims refrains from following any of the characterizations/plots from his other big show, Roswell.

*sputters a lot* I mean I thought -- with the hair -- but not seriously. I mean you can't think every sulky boy with long hair is Jordan Catalano, but apparently you can! You've totally made my DAY!

2) I share your feelings on The OC. Sad to see it go despite my extreme frustration with the wasted seasons. Plus, it got me reading fic in general and your fic in particular, so a big yay on that.

3) a) Others have beat me to the Katims reveal. But I was watching with luluminion last night and she totally yelled out "Jordan Catalano can't read!" Heh.

b) Yes on the spin. Yes on the I NEED MY NIRVANA RIGHT NOW GODDAMMIT.

c) I 'm neutral on this. I think it will crash and burn again eventually, but it makes sense within the show.

d) MATT! I shall not spoil you, I shall only reiterate my flaily love for that character.

e) Of *course* it's a real tape.

Aww. See, something good did come from Josh's stupidity and Mischa's lack of talent!

a) I thought that too for a moment and then I was all, dude, this isn't MSCL, but it is! Kinda. And now I can go home and see if I was right. *is v excited*

b) With the spin and the Nirvana temper tantrum I was like '...!!!!O_O' Yeah, that's about it.

e) I was just like, wait. What? No way! Yes way!

I rewatched the run of Heroes to date over the holiday break and my god. Yeah. The Petrelli brothers really *are* all over each other. And you're so right about the dynamic - Peter can say things and be totally sincere (something to do with his decision to go into nursing?), while Nathan reminds me of a snake oil salesman. And I find Peter really, really hot. Along with Mohinder and Isaac and Niki and her husband (DL? Is he DL?). It's a cast of hotness, yay.

I have never seen anyone touch that much in my life, and I'm not just saying that because I am totally non-touchy and still have dirtywrongbad feelings about the two of them together. Regardless of the hotassery or the chemistry, neither one would be nearly as effective alone. Nathan would be too hard, and Peter would seem too soft, each one needs the other to provide some balance. To pull them back to the proverbial middle. God, now I really wish they HAD made them twins

As you know I was really less than impressed by the early eps of FNL.

I was worried it was going to be a mediocre cliche of what it could've been, but as the season has gone on it's become progressively better, to the point where now it has completely exceeded my expectations. The characters are nuanced and complex, and I love that the writers keep rearranging the cast pairings so that we get to see all new dynamics and sides to their personalities.

I don't love Tim/Landry as a couple, but I loved that putting them together allowed us to see Landry's backbone and Tim's inherent kindness.

Oh, no, not Tim & Landry as a couple, but as a sort of snarky set of bookends. They're just so terribly Frick & Frack about it all, I love that Landry calls Tim on his bullshit. LOVE. IT. As for the pilot and the first few episodes I was underwhelmed until I got further along in the season. At first I just didn't get it. I felt like I couldn't see where they were headed with it, now that we're halfway through I can see all the seeds they've planted and it's just like 'wow.' If you get a chance, after you've seen all the episode, I highly recommend going back through the first three, they make a much bigger impact now. Especially the pilot.

1) This? because Nathan will sell you anything, he'll lie through his teeth, but he'll do it with charm and you'll probably feel a little like you got conned. Peter's appears so sincere and honest though that when he's lying to you, you can't tell. He's just that good. You know what he's saying doesn't sound right, but because he's *Peter* you choose to buy it. That's SKILLS.

Is the Winchester brothers to a T. Dean is so Nathan and Sam is so Peter in this respect.

With Dean, you feel like you're being conned, and with Sam, he's so innocent looking and sincere that you don't realize you're getting steamrolled.

It's awesome.

3) I want Tim/Landry. So very badly.

Also, the more bitchface Jason gets, the more I love him.

Please do not EVER mention Supernatural in my LJ. Okay? It makes me want to garrote someone. *smiles broadly* Moving along! Tim & Landry are AWESOME.
