 I find myself decidedly unhappy.

Possibly, this will make me sound incredibly...er, asshole-like, but I figure most of you have figured out by now that I sort of am one, so this won't surprise you.  Possibly infuriate you, but not surprise you.

Ambiguous and nonsensical prof comments a vengeful Red Kite of holy smiting do make.

Also,

Dear Drivers,
Those lines on the road. Yeah they are there to mark the lanes. Please to be staying in yours or using you TURN signal to let others know that you are planning on moving into that EMPTY space, NOT THE SPACE THAT I OCCUPY, the EMPTY space.

Very glad to hear that you were able to avoid that poor excuse for a driver and escape without physical injury to yourself or your car.

As far as the paper, you are taking the correct action by going to speak to the person who graded it. It would be worthless (timewise) to rewrite it without knowing what the guy wanted and/or is looking for, because the grade on a paper is the manifestation of the grader's subjective judgement. And 'subjective judgements' differ from person to person. So if you can figure out what the grader wants, that is half the battle.

Indeed. Drove down there today (once I could get out of bed...) and met with Schwartz, and found out what he wanted to see. I'll be re-writing the paper...er, some time this weekend. I hope.
