The weather down my way has sucked majorly for a few days now, and it's affecting my mood, my sleeping patterns and my general state of being.

I like rain, but it makes me drowsy and lethargic, which is bad, because...well, I was like that already.  So what it's actually done is exacerbate those conditions.

Which means I ain't done shit since my last ( Read more... )

Is your rain warm or cold? Our rain is cold (but I'm a lot of states west) so it always wakes me up. I love the rain here.

Our rain isn't warm--it's HOT. Think "surface of the Sun." We get a rare cold rain when the temperature drops a little and the humidity goes away, but otherwise, rain hisses when it hits the sidewalk here, and after it's over, it gets even muggier. : (

I still like it when it rains, though...just not when I have to go outside for one reason or another. If I didn't live in the armpit of the United States, I'd probably have walked in the rain at least once by now; it isn't worth the effort to do it in Miami (in my opinion, anyway).

^_^ Thanks! Mega positive chi is always welcome.

Oh lucky you; unless the humidity where you're at is gross, I envy you (and the state of your hair). I wouldn't mind a little sun. Yesterday afternoon it was sunny for a bit, but then the clouds moved back in again, and today's been overcast and ugly. : (

^_^ High humidity = hair gone wild (in my case--curly hair), or hair gone flat (in my sister's case--straight). It's why I never really bother doing anything to my hair, because the second I step outside, it'll go fucking nuts and all my hard work will have been for nothing (thanks Florida).
