1. post about something that made you happy today - even if it's just a small thing.
2. do this every day, for eight days, without fail.

i got nothing.
i barely got three hours sleep.
woke up to my coworker banging on my door.
didn't go to the baby shower early to help decorate like i was supposed to.

i'm glad sean got to call! i didn't even know tomorrow is columbus day, boooo :( that means i won't hear from thomas tomorrow either.

everyone forgets columbus day lol. i don't because i'm in school so it's one of the best days in october haha. how come Thomas couldn't call on columbus day?

Letters and postcards always took longer to get there than packages so yes I would put them in the packages. Packages too never seemed to follow a set schedule when they were mailed either. I guess it depends who handles them.

And yes it also took forever for me to receive his letters and packages. They wait until they have enough and then send out together so things can be sitting there for weeks before they get mailed.

Don't you just love the military mail system?

blahhh. i wanted him to be able to get mail in between the packages but he hasn't gotten a single letter/postcard yet. PLUS they just changed his APO again so they're all screwed up -_-

maybe i'll tell him to write me 20 letters and make that pile fill up faster haha

very much so, it gives me a good laugh every so often. especially when letters get returned to me four months later "return to sender" grr
