Hear, hear!

I've often thought that people should stage a Tube Users Strike. Just say no to the Tube. Bike, walk, take the bus, work from home. Whatever it takes to convince the overpaid greedy assholes they're not as indispensible as they think they are.

I'd drive a tube train for half the wages they get...sounds like a reasonable day to spend a day.

Me too. It's people/unions like that that give other unions/union rep a bad name!

Protesting outside Kings Cross? What a waste of time - especially as the RMT are just round the corner in Chalton St by Euston, which might, y'know, have a bit more effect?

But the media reporters were outside Kings Cross so maybe it wasn't such a waste of time. The guys that organised the process were live on LBC making their point. There wasn't a great many people there but the point was made and broadcast live.

I prefer Clemenceau's solution when the French railway workers went on strike in 1912; he declared a state of emergency, used his emergency powers to draft all the railway workers into the army, and then told them that if they didn't get back to work he'd have them shot for desertion.

Genius.
