Sorry it took so long to get to this comment... anyway when I eat cereal I usually try not to exceed the serving suggestion on the box. For example if I had my Special K it says 3/4 cup is one serving so that's what I have + 1/2 cup of milk :) I try not to eat dry cereal because then I will eat too much and still not be full/satisfied and thus acquiring what I call empty calories.

By the way, I am not in the habit of eating dry cereal. But the only cereal I ate was Special K. Until I bought this really good muesli. But the muesli tastes better dry. I like how it is crispy that way.
