I'm not doing well.

I feel numb all the time. Almost like my brain has been locked away, and I can't reach it. Im tired all the time, I can't bring myself to work or exercise because I'm so tired. I'm constantly switching off. I can't concentrate, I can't think. I've got two essays due next week that I cannot even begin to start writing, everytime ( Read more... )

myfitnesspal.com is super helpful with eating right. give it a try for a week or at least 3 days. there's an iphone app. and there's forums for support if you use a web browser.
if you do try it and like it, you can add me, ruffledviolet

Heya. I don't really know what to say that will make you feel better - I wish I did though. I agree with the other comment, you need to get a new doctor, or maybe talk to a counsellor or someone like that? Am not sure if you're still in school and have access to a school counsellor [or if you've already seen them] but they can be helpful, or a teacher or something you can talk to? Am not quite sure. All I know is if your doctor is dismissing you like that, then you need to find a new one. :)

I feel like tired and hungry and unmotivated a lot of the time [especially now that school's back] though you're obviously having a harder time than me. I found that when I get stressed I put my iPod on really loud or I hide under my doona, and it helps. I tend to write fanfiction too when I'm stressed or upset. Is there something you do like that to keep your mind off real-life?

Again, I'm not really sure what to say or do, but I hope it all gets better soon. Will be thinking about you.

might I suggest a new doctor? Any doctor who tells you to "suck it up" when you have a history of mental illness should not be practising!

That doctor needs to go away. Literally. You need to see someone who will help you when you tell them that you need help.

*hugs* maybe it's time to see another doctor? The one that told you to suck it up clearly doesn't know what she's doing... it's not that simple. *hugshugshugs*
