Aaarghh!

Ok, now I'm really upset. Apparently I was upset enough about Horatio that I didn't latch the tank properly. Because this morning, the tank was empty. Hamlet just got fed yesterday, so he's good for a week food-wise. That is if the cats don't get him first. I've looked everywhere I can think, but he's a little guy, he could fit anywhere. God, I wish there was something I could do other than sympathize. I'm trying to think of places to suggest to look, but you've probably checked them all already. My first guess would be behind the blinds on the window nearest to the aquarium; he might be after the sunlight (warmth and all). He might very well have gotten somewhere inside the couch, which might make it damn near impossible to find him.

I hope you find him. Sorry things are so shitty.

I've checked all the warm places I can think of. I've also opened all the windows to increase the sunny places hoping to draw him out. No luck so far :(

maybe if you have a portable electric heater, you could create a particularly warm spot for him?

Hmm . . . I don't have one, but it might be worth a try to get one. Maybe I should try putting the air conditioning up higher as well -- it might force him to come out looking for the sunny areas.
