Basically, the deal is this:

For the past 8 years, I have been spending Thanksgiving with my sister-in-all-but-blood shadesong. This is Tradition. But this year, between my own money issues, the University eliminating my travel budget, and the fact that my teaching schedule limits the days I can travel, I was unable to find any plane tickets

how does one donate funds? my friend Marrus, who posts pieces of art, will often post a paypal "tip jar" to click and donate. how does one sponsor a writer?? :D
