I'm like, that guy looks like John McCain, but why on earth would John McCain be putting papers on a table at CTU Los Angeles? I watch it again. Sure enough, it was John effin' McCain - the Jack Bauer of his generation.

That's my story

This is one way for cash strapped cities to make some money. I'm glad this mayor realizes that we all have to make sacrifices during this economic crisis, even parking in our own driveways.

I don't really know how to describe this piece I read on sfgate. It's not earth shattering; it's not even news. It's just an essay about a strange dude, but it's beautifully written and probably a lot more profound that it should be. Just read it and tell me what you think.

Even if you're not a sports fan, I suggest reading this espn.com article about the media's (and general public's) frenzy over the Michael Phelps pot smoking photo and A-Rod's banned substance admission. The author makes some very good points about how we create heroes and celebrities and relish destroying them.

On the internet today, I found more proof that babies are stupid.

ESPN's Rick Reilly attended and wrote about the World Series of Beer Pong in Las Vegas. I'd better start training. Gotta love the rules: 414 teams, first place gets $50,000, second place gets nothing. Intense.
