oh! i was so gonna do a picspam of all the lovely new pics!! i gotta say i'm looking forward to her kicking arthur's arse!!

i looked morgause up on wiki, coz i dont really know who she is and frankly it didnt help!! i'm hoping she has something to do with morgana, like aunt or sister, i mean come on she's got magic and she's kick-arse with a sword and i think she's trying to do bad things to arthur (but not in that way!!)

i think i'm gonna enjoy this ep!! :D shame its so far away!!

I'm seriously doubting that she'll be related to Morgana - if she was, the promos would be focusing on her and Morgana; yet in almost every pic she's shown with ARTHUR (plus, the fact that they're both blonde doesn't feel like a coincidence to me). This episode is being set up as an 'Arthur discovers his origins' story, if you ask me.

yeah i suppose the blonde thing does scream arthur rather than morgana, but a girl can hope can't she???!!!!!

and maybe it's coz i started reading mists of avalon a while back and she was a reletive of morgana's.....

this has nothing to do with anything in this tread, but the woman who plays forridal in ep 3 was just in 'new tricks'!!!!!!! /random

I'm guessing that the one with Arthur is Ygraine because didn't I read something about how he somehow meets her?

Re: Morgause, I can't say I'm thrilled about another female magical villain arc, but I'm still really intrigued and she sounds like she'll be really formidable, and here's hoping Merlin doesn't blast her to bits before the season's out! Also, Emilia fox is GORGEOUS.

And Gwen, sweetie. You don't deserve to be brushed off.

I don't think it's set in stone that Morgause will be a villain, tbh. Quite probably in opposition to Uther, but I suspect her relationship with the OT4 will be a far grayer area. I mean, Merlin doesn't look like he's rushing to save Arthur from certain doom at this new blond enchantress's hands - it looks like she's there genuinely trying to talk to him about their shared past.

Been lurking on here for a while and I thought I would comment about the epicness of Emilia in chainmail and that dress is *drool*. Lets hope she kicks Arthur's butt! XP...and yeah I've started shipping her and Morgana already...let's now hope that they are not related. XD
