GWEN'S BOOBS. There were quite a few things in this episode that I wasn't so keen on, but basically every single moment involving Gwen was pure awesome. I wish she'd had more to do, but I can deal when the two things she does get are HUG MORGANA and SAVE ARTHUR'S STUPID ARSE.
But, yeah, Morgana's situation just makes me cry. Poor thing; I really wish someone would just tell her the truth already. :\
oh! awesome picspam :D don't they look lovely in their new outfits??!! (although i might get bored with that green dress of morgana's! it just looks scratchy!!)
what made me laugh when morgana is talking to guius and he asks her if she's taking his medicine and she nods her head like a petulant child who's fed up with being asked if she's taking it!! i loved that!
they cetainly went full steam into the gwen/arthur stuff though didn't they?! no messing about there!
and of course on the boobage front we need more morgana boobage too!! :D
Great picspam, thank you! Awesome girls are awesome even if we didn't get to see them much.
I think we're meant to gather that Gwen was out in the courtyard because Gaius had sent her for more bandages in the previous scene, but I'm not sure. And anyone who says they weren't eyeing her up in that scene is LYING. LYING, I TELL YOU.
Morganan: AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! (Clutches Gwen) Gwen: Easy, my love! They put so much makeup on me I can hardly get my lines out.
Seriously, when a woman is as gorgeous as Angel Coulby, she doesn't need that much lipstick or eyeshadow. They've glammed her up a great deal--only fair given how much of last season she had to spend standing next to a much-more-glammed-up Morgana last season, but she looks like she got a clueless white makeup artist. And the cleavage is lovely, but what really sold it for me was Angel's acting. I loved that when she saved Arthur's life she kept looking for the gargoyle--sensible girl. And I thought she seemed much less interested in or impressed with Arthur during his apology scene than he did with her.
I thought both women were wasted in this episode, actually. Morgana in particular could have been cut entirely and it wouldn't have mattered. Here's hoping they get more to do soon!
Oooh, lovely picspam! *squees* And yes, I freely admit I was eyeing Gwen and her newly-revealed cleavage up. ;D I am NOT ASHAMED! *bg*
Heh, on the issue of Gwen and Arthur... I think Arthur was genuinely trying to thank her for saving his armored ass, but the man had been knocked around quite forcefully by both the gargoyle of doom AND by Gwen, so I think he was a bit off-kilter. So the thanking came across as him almost trying to flirt with her, and subsequently she gives him this look of "Dude, I have lives to save and Morgana to hug. Whatever you're trying to say, spit it the hell out." I was laughing my ass off through most of it, really.
As for Morgana... really wanted to see more of her. Plus, I get this feeling that if she doesn't off Uther for being such a jerk about magic, she's going to off Gaius for turning her into a drug addict. *hugs her*
Definitely looking forward to the coming weeks so we can see more of the awesomesauce that is our girls!
