Two months ago a deer ran into my car.  It caused $6000 worth of damage (and still going up, because we can't get the car to pass inspection.)  It caused me to stop weight-lifting and start going to the chiropractor's.  It caused me to consider the utter dearth of predators for deer in Massachusetts

Shotgun with slugs. MA doesn't allow rifles, but you are allowed to get a rifled barrel for your shotgun! I think I'll ignore the rifling for the time being and see if I can reliably hit a pie plate at 30 yards. So are I've been using my shotgun exclusively for trap, and the target practicing I've done has been with my .22LR with a red dot sight. The thought of trying to target shoot with my shotgun has me nervous!

Hmm, just a question on relative responsibility... so, the dear ran into your car. Were you motionless at the time, or were you also busy running into the deer?
