Okdk, I finally found time to read this. Waaaaaaah! The last paragraph about Quatre crying had me in tears, dude! That was awesome! Well-written and engaging, and I don't even like football. I assume that Trowa died and Duo, Heero and Quatre survived, but what about Hilde and the others?

Ah, thank you for the comment! It really is sad that I somewhat evaluate a story on the amount (and type) of feedback it garners, but, I'm only human. Seeing your review made me really happy, because even though this was a spur of the moment, somewhat sloppy story, I was pretty proud of it. thank you for the support

Oooh, I wish I could take the credit for the dice idea, but I think it was basilton who came up with that one. I found the nifty virtual dice page, however. I think he's left the fandom now, like a lot of other people in this comm, so you shouldn't judge your fic based on the comments. I used to be guilty of that too, though. *slaps us* Some of the most poorly written, gawd-awful tripe on FFN gets dozens of comments, while a lot of beautifully written, professional quality stuff gets totally ignored. Most people just seem drawn to crap, really. I can't think of any other reason for the success of Stephenie Meyer. Hee! Okay, that was a cheap shot...

Yesh, I agree that it was better to leave Cathy out of it. That makes it sadder in a way, because the reader knows that Quatre still has to tell her about it, so in a way, Trowa has to die all over again. Waaaaaaaah! Again, this is truly made of awesome, dude. So glad you joined this comm!

the one thing i try to do is keep a solid flow. and, yeah, sometimes it scares me how much of my own inner monologues i channel when i write stuff like this...

Fabbo! I love fics that are little slices, that drop you right in the thick of it and end just as suddenly, and make the reader do a bit of work. And I love fics that do a decent character-pov. So naturally, I liked this a lot. :)

i have to admit, part of the reason i do fics that are all fragmented like this one is that i have real trouble keeping a longer, coherent narrative going. but, well, if life gives you crazy...

Oh man. I know I'm a little late on it -- but -- I love it! It's not something one would expect for a pilot to die, or for any of them to deal with, and that's what really made it a gem!
