What a way to go, and what a way to kill someone. I can't really fault Duo for not wanting to die alone, but Trowa really got the short end of the stick. Makes me wonder why they ended.

Yes, I've always suspected that Duo was purely evil underneath. It's the ones who hide in clergy gear that you have to watch out for. Thanks for reading and commenting!

Thank you so much for this wonderful gift!  \(^-^)/First off, let it be said: I am a sucker for fics that show the writer has done some research. Much appreciate the reference to Dickens - those pieces of narration about the bubonic plague thicken the atmosphere and heighten the sense of foreboding. The setting is perfect ( ... )

Awwwww! Thankies so muchly, dude! I was truly worried that this wouldn't measure up compared to how awesome your own writing is, and since I knew you would know who wrote any fic for you I was worried too that even if you hated it you might feel obligated to fawn all over it out of a sense of friendship and not wanting to hurt my feelings. But that comment sounds totally sincere to me, so you've made my day! I'm so happy you liked it, and that I could make you miserable once again. *pets and pets*  It was an awesome prompt! I may write another fic with it, using a different pairing. Have fun at the show tonight!

By now you should know I would not lie about what I think of your writing, silly! Honestly, if we're talking about writing standards - you are mine. When I don't really like a fic or dislike parts of it, I will never say I love it or fawn over it just because we are friends. There are plenty of other nice things to say in such cases.  ε[♥](^-^)   Feel free to ask me for brutal opinions at any time, though, if that's what you're looking for. Not that I know how to properly critique fiction, or anything... and by all means, I consider myself but a newb.

Anywho, glad to have made your day! You made mine as well, so it's only fair, right? Heh!  *hugs and clings*

The concert was fabelhaft! I even got to misbehave a little - just a pity there was little room to dance like an eediot, since it turned out to be at the Utrecht theatre... ah well!

Thanks! She said to make it hurt, so I did my best. Probably a dangerous thing for her to say to anyone in this comm. Heh.

man, i'm not so into "vengeful ex" stories, but i really did enjoy this. something about how elaborate and awful Duo's trap was just made it excellent for me. been a while since i've been through my Dickens, but the quotes did fit, and the descriptions of the pestilence filled city were great.

Duo was so awful. just, really... the themes were good, but no sympathy from me, buster!

Isn't he heevil? Waaaaaah! Duo rarely gets to be wicked in fanfiction these days, though, that I couldn't resist. Hee! So glad you liked it!
