Cassandra, cassandra, cassandra. This....you...gah... this is perfection. It really, really is. Your take on my video is so refreshing and awe inspiring and beautifully tragic and just so, so, lovely. I cannot begin to tell you how much I love this. Your writing style is nothing short of brilliant. The story of Arthur & Eames makes my heart both swell and hurt because of all the achy thoughts that they feel. And oh Eames, why must you be the stubborn and strong one? It's perfect characterization really. So for that THANK YOU. And arthur; the one who feels too much yet is able to keep it "together" for the outside world. Just epic really ( ... )

Gaby, this comment seriously destroyed me. In the best way. You made me feel all warm and tingly inside, lol! I'm seriously flattered that you like this. I wanted so badly to do the prompt justice.

In my head, I do see Eames as the one who thinks more rationally and logically. Truthfully, I see Arthur wearing his heart on his sleeve. I wanted that to come across. And Mal! I was so, so worried about her place in the fic. I was so afraid there wasn't enough of her, because your take on the video had her as this really major presence. But I'm so glad that she had a big enough impact, honestly!

P.S. When the art went up, I had five picks of just the standard art. I didn't have a chance to view the videos. When I watched yours the night before claims, it shot right up to my #1 pick. I fell in love with it!

This makes my heart hurt a bit. I love that you make Mal someone real who wants things that arent necessarily good for her and makes mistakes. And arthur and eames push/pull relationship is so sad and ... intense. I think I might have to process this a bit longer to have anything more coherent to say, but I loved that this somehow seemed to end on a hopeful tone even after all the heart wrenching angst ;_;

Thank you! I definitely tried to write Mal as human as I could. She isn't perfect at all. I tried my best to capture that. I'm sorry Arthur & Eames made you sad. ): But you're right! It seems pretty hopeful, yeah? ♥

this is lovely! teehee I liked this line: Arthur is a fool. Eames has never found anything romantic about nearly getting yourself killed over a spreadsheet.
