Had a productive day of nothing today. Wait let me recant, we did stamp our notebooks in class. A tedious process that involves numbering every page (1 of X, 2 of X, etc.) then stamping the top and bottom of every page with the highest classification of information in the notebook, all in all about 2 hrs. of busy work for a 70 pg. notebook. Started class yesterday and started learning today. Our program is currently going through a switch to computer based learning, but for some reason they still have an actual instructer intro the whole thing so by the time I get to the computer stuff I already know it all. Well it's been what three weeks since my last post? What's happened in that time? Took a tour of the U.S.S. Antietam (CG-53) One of the Navy's AEGIS Cruisers. Still doing well in school, in fact if I just stopped taking tests I'd still graduate with over an 80% average. Yea update. I'm out of Great Lakes, IL and am now stationed at NAVASWTRA (Navy Anti-Submarine Training) San Diego, CA. So it's October and 70+ degrees outside. I'm currently in "A" School which is like basic training for my rate. So i finally broke down and paid to use the internet in my barracks. For those of you who don't know, I'm still in Great Lakes but fortunatly on the Naval Training Command side. Much cooler then RTC.
