[Kashihara opens the door and sees Haruko burst into a coughing fit. Even she couldn't handle much of this cold, it seems. The inside of Kashihara's house was, however, relatively warm. The man set up candles and even a large fireplace in the living room.

Granted, the heat here couldn't compare to the warmth, say, a heater could give, but it was still something given the lack of resources.]

[A sane person would behave with caution towards someone they saw beat their own doppelganger to death mercilessly. Some would even be polite and ask before entering the household.

Haruko is neither of those things, at least most of the time, and she quite happily just waltz into Kashihara's house.]

[Kashihara closes the door behind Haruko. He was going to invite her in anyway. Well, might as well boil up some hot water for her. There isn't much beyond that anyway.

He walks over to a pot that's already being boiled on top of a fire place]

Hmhm. There were candles and firewood lying around, fortunately. I'm glad that we have enough of them to last us a while before resorting to throwing furniture into the flames.

[Courage or just that damn crazy, it's hard to tell. Without a word of thanks or gratitude, Haruko snatches the handkerchief away from Minato and proceeds to loudly blow her nose into it. For, oh, let's say a good thirty seconds, before finally holding the handkerchief back to the teen.]
