I was ALMOST bored of being on a cruise ship by about Day 8. I wasn't bored of the company, mind.

We had a better experience in Lisbon, but we stayed at a nice hotel and didn't have to get up terribly early the next day because our flight was at 12:45.

Agreed that a shorter cruise is preferable. Too many cruising days where I felt restless. It might have been better if the weather was milder and ocean waves not as tall, though. Lounging on the deck was not an option.

I am ungodly jealous of this trip! Sounds like the places were beautiful, shitty hostels not withstanding ;)

Goth Cruise 6! Going to Belize City and Cozumel sailing out of Fort Lauderdale, FL Sept 2009. About $500/person. Still open! ^_^
