I've been putting this post off for almost a week now, mainly because sometimes I feel like one big whiner/complainer even though this is my journal and where else can I do these things   It's been a wing-dinger of a year so far and looks like it isn't getting any better any time soon.

YIKES! I'm not sure what I would have done in your place. Probably the same. I'd also take Toga's suggestion to tour the courthouse and jail. Perhaps the morgue also. There must be some place where she can go and hear real stories from stupid teen-aged girls who weren't so lucky. I'm very glad that she's safe, and I'm sure she's learned a valuable lesson.
