All things considered, I'm really quite calm

Hubby came home tonite, and announced that in two weeks he will no longer be working for CBC of Brevard.

He's been laid off.

o_O

He'll be home all day.  Every day.   With me after work and when I am off work.  I'll NEVER HAVE ANY ALONE TIME EVER AGAIN.

*sigh*

On the good side, he'll probably be happier.  Trying to do the job, in an enviroment where ( Read more... )

This is exactly the position I found myself in last August when they fired Dave.

He's working from home now, and we're getting along great because he's happy, insanely happy for the first time in years.

And yes, they are all happy and smiles with him now and hired him back as a consultant. O.o

I know that sometime down the line they will be sorry. Mainly because the fellow they trained, in secret (oh isn't that so professional?), to do his job was trained by people who have only a 40% of error free cases, vs Hubby & his two people who have 100% error free.

but hey, they're all "team players" which is the most important thing of all.

LOL

Oh, sweetie! *BIG HUG* It'll be all right. I promise. I know what you're going through - and if you need anything, let me know!

Next coffee's on me!

ah it's all good. besides *I* am still employed.

Well until evaluations come out. Then I might be having to bitch-slap the baker if she mouths off because she's not getting a good review. Mostly based on her high whine factor and her wanting me to do all her flipin work.

but that's a whole 'nother thing.

The good news, with all my housework & laundry being done I'll haev more time to do coffee.

You always think that. *grins* And I'm sure Hubby's going to be much happier. I'll keep an eye out for anything that might suit at the Clerk's Office. He's worked in government and would fit right in (not to mention, he'd stun and amaze by being good).
