Nicki's arms! ~dances~

Ok, this is the third time I've tried to write this post. I think it goes to show how scatter brained I am right now because I keep hitting the back button and loosing the post. I'm such a 'tard.

Anyway, Nicki's arms arrived today. The jist is, they aren't exactly what I wanted, but they're good. I like them, and it helps me get a better idea for

I can see what your going for with him, but ummm, dont take this the wrong way but the cut marks kinda look a little to painted on ^ ^;;
How old are the marks ment to be, as they look a little red and fresh.

They do, but I'm still fussing with them and these aren't the final look. I'm more enthralled with the fact they've been glossed and are raised here and there.

And they're meant to be varied, actually, Nicki still cuts, and has been for a very long time. Next time I get them done I want a few that look older, and more along the veins in the lower arms.

And yea, I've got a lot of experience with self harm too. >.<

Its hard painting the old ones I bet, geting them light enough.

I imagine it would be! I think the main fault with the older looking ones is that the scar tissue hasn't been made white enough, so they don't really stand out against the (fantastic) tone of his resin. Still, it'll do for now and I'll do more research for refrence pics on the next one. All things considered, I think Linny did really well.

Which isn't really what one should have for a character with self-esteem issues. Eejit. >.<

They do, they look like self inflicted scars, which is what I really wanted. All regimented and definatly inserted.

Well, it's all about how he views himself, isn't it? And I already have one boy in the house who licks the mirror ~cough~ Fall ~cough~ so I need one that avoids it. ;)
