My sense of smell has returned, after an absence of three or so weeks. Probably related to the stress??? One of my peers wears this light, baby-powder-like cologne or aftershave and every time he passes my desk (which is very often), I have to pause to smell it, it's so nice. Egg in a basket, or frog in a hole, or campers' eggs.
Butter-fried bread meshed with egg. No need for salt, just add a handful of chopped coriander and dashes of Tabasco sauce. I was reminded of my grandmother. For breakfast, she would dip long pieces of fried bread from the Vietnamese market into her morning coffee or cocoa. Afterwards she'd have fruit or chew on betel leaf.
