"Actually, it was Mrs. Peacock who was with Colonel Mustard in the library," Barbara said and changed the information on the white board. "So they're clear. Which leads me to thinking that it must be Plum, as his fingerprints are on the pipe and he doesn't have an alibi."
In the console room Harry studied what was written on the white board while he sipped at his cooling tea. "Mrs Peacock and Colonel Mustard appear to have an alibi," he concluded. "But the rest all had time to go down to the kitchen and kill Dr Black some time during the evening."

"I can't imagine who else it would be, since there were no other finger prints found on the pipe, and Colonel Mustard had an alibi." Two, really, since Mrs. White could confirm that they hadn't left the library for some time.
"Unless the murderer used gloves or covered the pipe with a cloth," the Doctor pointed out. "Can't have finger prints if they're covered, Miss Wright."
