For those of you unfamiliar with the New Ways Ministry, it is a Catholic group that has been advocating for LGBT Catholics for 30 years. Here is a quote from its site.
"[New Ways Ministry is] a gay-positive ministry of advocacy and justice for lesbian and gay Catholics

Thank you for sharing this article. I'm in no position to judge the Roman Catholic Church (though I am on the Catholic wing of the Anglican Church), but it must be difficult to be RC and gay. The Magisterium is supposedly unchangeable. I've read St John Chrysostom's homilies on the Book of Romans and he vehemently opposed homosexuality (Homily #4 if I remember correctly.) How is the Church supposed to change when these kinds of writings are considered to be of the highest authority, second only to the Bible itself. I don't have an answer.
