I still say he looks like a scarier version of Senator Palpatine. I miss John Paul II, I mean so far as he was the head of the Catholic Church and all the dogma associated with it, at least from him I got a continuing sense that he was a good person who was as accepting as a person in his position could be.

While it is ironic in the sense that certain doctrines are still backwards and ridiculous, he has a bit of a point unless the RCC starts violently assaulting people again.
