No doubt.

Sometimes a fan going full blast and the air conditioner at 65 isn't cool enough. And then the other things.

That shit would not fly if men had to go through this.

This is more along the lines of 'I do not need hormone-generated free-floating depression and/or anxiety!' But yes. We would have a better range of options if men had to go through this crap too.

Ah. I have those all the time, and I haven't noticed an uptick. But I have plenty of other symptoms. Yay.

Ah. I'm getting an uptick at both ovulation and PMS. And the PMS is dragging out like whoa.

May we both get through this!!

So true!

What I hated most about menopause was the way it messed with my brain. And for a long while I thought it was me, that I was getting senile or having some sort of neurological issues--and it terrified me. Them I read someone describing exactly the issues I was going through and blaming them on menopause and---wow, the relief! Fluctuating hormones are a lot less scary and permanent-sounding than a brain tumor.

I could put the memory issues in the same basket as I put the other menopause symptoms: "this too shall pass". I found that it helped if I thought of it as unusually strong and long-lasting bout of PMS......

Well, paradoxically, I felt way better when I could blame it on menopause. Because menopause, at some time, is finally over. And then no more fluctuating hormones, yay!

I hear you. Sleeping on TOP of the covers (even in winter!) gets old fast.

Thanks! I'm hoping it's like theater and a bad perimenopause leads to an easy menopause. Good luck to both of us!!
