::laughing:: Oh, yeah, that vid is such a blast! I had *fun* writing in the AU they created with it. ::amused:: There were also a lot of emails back and forth with Killa, asking, "Okay, well if that changed, what about...?" Which let me save those three, which was a wonderful thing.
I have to admit, I was looking at this story and muttering, "It doesn't have much plot." Then I consoled myself that in some ways, neither did "The Stone of Scone" so what the heck? It had good banter and silliness -- nothing wrong with fun for the sake of fun!
I think I actually physically clapped my hands in delight twice while reading this, and my face hurts now from grinning so much. You are the best. The BEST!
Methos buried his face in his hands again, wishing he'd poured himself a triple. Working with Amanda and Duncan made for amazing profits, and the sex was equally astounding on the occasions when they fell into bed together -- usually after a job. At the moment, neither of those seemed like adequate compensation for conversations like this. YES. This is exactly what I kept thinking when we were making that vid! :D :D :D You brought it all back. (I can't believe it's been more than ten years!) But then you added all my favorites, and made it so much better. I love that amongst Cory, Matthew, and Sean, Sean is the obvious answer for this heist. He's the only one of the three that wouldn't have been a recipe for disaster, so I'm relieved

::giggling:: I kept reading the discussions I was writing and going, "I don't know that Methos *has* enough alcohol for some of this..." Poor man.
Yeah, Matthew just would NOT have worked there. (He and Connor snark so much! He, Connor and Methos? Disastrous!) You should have seen Devo over AIM about 'Oh my god, 'he used to joust' as shorthand? Too funny!'
I had the scene with Connor written out, actually, but it dragged the story out so I had to compress. But oh, yeah. Smacked Duncan upside the back of the head, fussed about losing muscle to be fashionable or fit in tight places until they sparred, asked about the assassination attempt in Mismatched Pieces and about bail money, then drank whisky and asked after Methos and Amanda. Family. What can you say?
::lol:: Poor Amanda. It *does* work? She just hated using it.
I absolutely LOVE the fact that Rebecca says do it -- and even Methos falls in line. Bravo!
And I'm picturing now the spin that the PR team's going to have to put on the Stone suddenly being whole. 'Cause you just know someone's going to talk. . .
