NaNo, Pomegranates, & an LJ PSA

First, congratulations to everyone who tried any of the Writing Month challenges and got anything written -- good for you!

Second, getting the seeds/arils out of a pomegranate reminds me of nothing so much as underwater pea-hulling. They're massively yummy, but still, I'm just saying....

Oh, and third -- man, I miss my coffee today!

I love pomegranates. I've given up on getting to the seeds, just buy the juice. I equate getting the seeds out to my attempt to repair a sock knit on size 1 needles. You know the stitches are there, but seeing them, much less getting to them? It's just frustratingly insane.

And this phishing thing *shakes head*. I'm so not a fan of capital punishment, but I'm beginning to think otherwise . . .

Yeah, I like the juice, too. Particularly the pomegranate Izzes, though, where they add carbonation....

Knitting -- never really got the knack of that. May have to try again, too!

Pomegranates - I read just *yesterday* that the way to do it is to cut them in half, turn them cut side down...and then hit them repeatedly with a rolling pin. If they are ripe, the seeds will just all fall out.

Not tried it yet, but I will do :-)

Do it in dark clothes! The juice stains! (Let me know if it works, too...)
