For a tour of New York City's nightlife, I think Peter Venkman & Mickey Kostmeyer would do a bang-up (no pun intended!) job.

If exploring Victorian London, one could do worse than tag along with Holmes and Watson... and if Fitz happened to be nearby, or perhaps that odd chap wearing the looooonnnng scarf who lives in a blue police box, that would be even better....
