Today's Friday Fannish Five: Five favorite (or most memorable) lines of dialogue.Oh, man, where do I *stop*? I um, kinda went with five fandoms and I should have done Buffy instead of Forever Knight, but what the heck. If I'd added Monty Python, I'd still be typing. I love that you've been bringing Undercover Blues out into the fan consciousness lately - one of my all time favorite movies. The chemistry between Kathleen Turner and Dennis Quaid was some of best I've ever seen - I'm astounded they never did another film together.

Off the top of my head, favorite show line from SG-1:

(Evil Goauld, introducing himself): "Ba'al"
Jack O'Neill: "..... as in.... bocce?"

Makes me laugh every time!

My favorite Ba'al/O'Neill exchange:

Ba'al: "You dare mock me?"
Jack: "Ba'al, c'mon. It's me...of course I dare mock you."

You made me want to watch Blazing Saddles and 1776. I think I even own the former.

Ah, Rhi... Thank you for 1776. Personally I think everyone who really wants to understand just how difficult it was to get this country started should watch it.

Very, very welcome. I love that movie. I had to limit it to get that few. I left out some of John Adams' other lines ("I have such a desire to knock heads together!" and "Now there you have me, Abigail. You are pigeon-toed.")

*laughs* I loved the Highlander quotes as well as 1776. And Blazing Saddles had me laughing. Buffy would be great. They had some funny dialog.

::grinning:: This was a great 'cheer up' question. Sometimes their Friday 5 isn't anything I want to bother with, but this was great.
