Back to redhead again, but shoulder-length this time. ::amused:: And I kind of forgot to warn people I was doing this. Like, oh, Merewyn, and my ballet class, and my family... Right after a haircut, too. Hmm. Come to think about it, I didn't warn Merewyn about that, either. Dinner tomorrow/tonight should be fun. Clearly, I'm very easily amused ( Read more... )

hair: henna, easily amused

::laughing: After it's had a shampoo or two to calm down. It's on the red side of copper.

Well, you see, that's the fun part. ::grinning:: When I was adopted at six weeks old or so, I had (my right hand to whichever gods may strike me dead) red curly hair and purple eyes. Two weeks after my parents got me? The hair fell out. Grew back in blond a month or so later, and my eyes are... I'd have to ask my husband what color they are today. ::shrugs:: Never purple, usually green or blue, occasionally grey or gold. And my hair's now dark blond/brunette if it's not dyed, but it's also had silver here and there since I was 24. Haven't done black, blue, or purple yet, but I did once accidentally go green.

More information than you ever wanted, I'm sure, but there you go.

::laughing:: Oh, I *wish*! Man, there's times I'd love to be able to stretch properly like cats do! ::cheerful:: But now you know why I just shrug about the way Connor's eyes change color!

Photos, please? (I used to be Carole Burnett red but I switched to blonde. I could never go back to brunette; I'd look so old and fake!) *grin*

::laughing:: Hell, go with any color you like! I went back to henna and red because my hair and scalp like the stuff. But no pictures until it tones down a little. It's on the orange side of copper just now, but a few shampoos and it'll be back to copper.

If you want henna and darker colours, try Lush. They have auburn, brown and black. I can only vote for the auburn, it's great.

I used the Lush Caca Rouge. I'm thinking next time I might have to go half and half with it and the auburn. Great stuff, though, definitely! (I'm twisted; I like how it smells.)

::laughing:: They're usually a red gold. I'm currently orange and it'll tone down to copper.

I've seen a few setters who are a lovely copper red shade.
