Thanks! Glad you liked. ::checks the list:: Hmm. I *think* (she said dubiously) that I'm down to maybe... two left, four if I want to double up for some people. ::eyes the fic I'm currently writing:: Although this may be the long form of Killa's second request...

Anyway, I'm glad you liked them, and yay! Fall's here, winter's coming, prime writing time! (For me, anyway.)

The characters are tempting me again... There may be attempts at writing in my future.

With thanks to one of MacNair's stories, which I can't find online, drat it.

Return of the Jedi Two http://www.daire.org/refuge/index.html

Strange because I just read this for the first time the other day!

Thanks! I loved both of these "5 Things". But you do Joe's voice especially well. ::laughs::

::nodding:: I found number two, but there used to be another, shorter one of Connor and Duncan fighting with the staves (I could *swear* I read it?), and I can't find it. Grrr!

Anyway, glad you liked these: Joe is marvelous fun to write. Gorgeous, distinctive voice. ::pleased:: And doesn't MacNair write just *splendid* MacLeod?

If you find it, let me know. I'd love to read it. Her Connor (and Duncan!) are wonderful!

Will do, and yeah, I *adore* her take on both the MacLeods. To me, she's the definite vote on Connor characterization.

Oh very nice. I love these. And I can see them so clearly. I especially like that last one. And the first one. And the second one...third one. Okay and the fourth one. How hard it must be to have 5000 years worth of memories and losses. We see Duncan's - they never let us see Methos'.

::nodding:: I got the first and third and fourth in the car when I was thinking about your query, and got back and went, 'Oh, fuck, that's not what she asked for....' Then I thought that maybe you wouldn't mind a slight change in wording. I'm glad you like them!

These are perfect. Love the Joe ones especially. Speaking of which, have you heard the latest Jim Byrnes CD, House of Refuge? Somehow it (at least in my head) goes really well with some of the Aidan stories.

::delighted:: No! I didn't know he had a new album out! I'll have to go put it on my Amazon wish list so I don't lose the title. Thank you! And glad you liked them -- it was fun writing those over pizza last night.

Luverly Joe! Would like to see him unleash the boom-boom weapon on his more trying immortals some nefarious night.

And re 'House of Refuge' (excellentblues/gospel roots!)--I have had very good results going to The Source... Blackhenmusic.com ...and they are happy to ship over all sorts of borders. The Sojourners add a whole new dimension to this production.

::nodding:: I found it on amazon.ca, but I'll check them, too, thank you!

Glad you liked these. ::giggling:: Yeah, can you not hear the horrified comments?

'Oh my god, we'd heard Sunda was *dead*'

'If we keep drinking this, *we'll* be dead!'

'Good point. Still. Pass some more down...'

::nodding:: There are some *really* lovely stories on the 'Net. ::grins:: Also some dreck. Fortunately, there really *does* seem to be 'something for everyone.' I'm glad you liked these so much, sorry to make
you cry!
