I probably haven't told you this, but your fic helped get me through a job I absolutely hated and then through the breakup of my marriage. Your fic is "comfort reading" for me.

::nodding:: I've been considering volunteering at the library, as well as thinking I'd do very well as a part-time barista at a coffee house. ::g: Might end up doing both, maybe volunteer at the literacy center. Thank you very much for the suggestions, and the kind wishes; I'm really hoping we start to get a handle on this autoimmune/inflammatory crap, too. 'Well, you might have X' is starting to get awfully old.

Your daughter is *lovely* company. And kindly tell her for me that she reminds me very much (both in personality and looks) of the daughter of a friend in Arkansas, and that said daughter is going through college on an academic scholarship.... ;->
