3) I just spent 10 minutes looking and could not find one dependable mention of Serenity being cancelled. They're all still "woo-hoo", "How to make this one a huge success" and "River is my goddess". Until (and if) I find anything more believable on this subject I'm writing that one down as a prank.
1) You have no idea. She's the first one in and last one out of every trip, always walking ahead. We called her "The Suicide Jumper" on this trip, cause she kept ignoring the ladders and ropes and just jumped ahead... [shudder] terrible. Maybe escaping the brainwash is a guy thing?
2) True. So? I still whine about it.
3) River is indeed my Goddess (or, at least, one of her aspects); two bad I'm already taken... Maybe she was wrong. That's a good thing, so I'm crossing my fingers. I just hope not to be disappointed.

This way I get you whining that I'm torturing you, which is much better. I doubt very much that resistence to brainwash is a male trait (also, my sister didn't get brainwashy either). Maybe Noam just, perish the thought, actually likes it? I used to really like it when I was younger. We'd spend every weekend on a trip of some kind, alternating between 'South' and 'Nourth'. At some point just walking outside simply wasn't interesting enough on it's own, and I stopped. Nature... it's kind of pretty, but y'know.

That argument doesn't wash. Noam wanted to get brainwashed, is my guess, but I resisted! Besides, it's good that she travels, otherwise she'd just atrophy in front of the TV like... ahem... well.
Trips are cool if you go with cool people; I enjoy my family, usually, but this trip! This trip was the March of Death all over again...
