This weekend the stars aligned, the blue moon rose over the horizon, and I had a fantastic time at a convention doing what I've always, not so secretly, desired to do -- dressed up in crazy clothes and flounced around a Convention.

Zenkaikon pretty much turned into 'taking pictures of Hetalia cosplayers and meeting new awesome folks'-con, which is something I am quite pleased about! I truly need a zoom lens for group shoots eventually, but for now I am in utter love with 1.8 Aperture. In love.

Just a few hours ago, I got back from Delaware and the Hetalia Day Delaware Meet.* I went down early to help the coordinator thecurtain get things together and make onigiri and linzer tortes and keep her from going crazy, and also to take photos during the event for the embarrassment and joy of all.
