I've taken several steps to streamline the html for this page (including shortening the URLs for all the images) but it's still approaching the maximum character limit for a single entry. :( I suppose my next step would be to remove the "alt" tag for each image.

I may weed my friends list to eliminate some folks who seem no longer to be using LJ -- mostly in an attempt to make my flist a more manageable size. Please fill out this poll if you happen to be reading this entry:

At some point this week, my flist passed the 300 mark, which sort of shocks me. (Although there are slight discrepancies between "who I'm reading" and "who is reading me," both are over 300 if we count the "also a friend of" section that I've set not to display on my userinfo page.) I've deleted about 140 LJ entries in the last couple of weeks -- almost all of them private entries. Most of you won't notice any change, but if anyone ever tries retro-reading my LJ, they'll have a much easier time of things now.
