I know I bill myself as a Sondheim know-it-all and such, but on what recordings did Linda Lavin and Faith Prince sing that song? I don't think I have ever heard either versions. I know Millicent Martin's version very well from Side by Side... :-)

Linda was the original artist, so to speak, on the cast recording of The Mad Show. Faith recorded it in a revue of Mary Rodgers' songs called Hey, Love.

I have both on CD if you are interested. : )

Um, she played Alice on the TV show, Alice....

She also has done some stagework in New York, but I'm assuming you won't have heard of that. ; )
