Poor Johnny

Sigh…..I know.  I’ve been away.  Family duties you know.  I also think I have caught a little Blackhawk’s fever, watching more hockey this year, than the rest of my life combined.  Sure I’m a total bandwagon hockey fan, but the buzz is infectious. It’s just every time I come back and think about The Great Waffler, I become depressed.  Let’s travel ( Read more... )

germans, monkeys, legend of the seeker, frazetta, cheetos

I doubt that is George's cave. Cheeto dust? Yes. Unconsumed Cheetoes? No.

No - that's it. That's how Ty gets him to work. He waits til lardo is at a con, and then fills the space with cheetos. When he comes back he consumes all the cheetos and then collapses on the chair for a few days. In those days he writes one page of Dance, and then watches reruns of Joe Namath games (if its not NFL season).

He is a stupid, fat, ugly, nappy monkey.

He 'needs' to take a shower because girls are reading for the part of shae?

And what is with this 1000 word dissection of Iron Man 2....That would make for 1/4 of a POV and he could be that much closer to being done.

Oh but I forgot....he doesn't want to finish anything ever again except repackaging 20 year old wildcard books...

For me, Dragon Age Origins got old fast. But that just seems to be me. I've been busy developing calluses on my thumb from playing BlazBlue online.

Been reading Erikson's Malazan Empire series as recommended by one of our other readers. Thanks! Loving it!

I wish I had some sort of artistic skill(all the artistic talent ended up in my brother), I'd photoshop pics of McJiggles and make a gif of him endless putting potato chips in his mouth.

No, you are right, Dragon age did get old fast, but i had to finish it, I'm an achievement junkie. But it was too much hack and slash, not much to the game play.

I enjoyed First Law Trilogy. Abercrombie's fight scenes are top notch, especially when Ninefingers berseks into THE BLOODY NINE. Freaking awesome.

Also, Brian Ruckley's Godless World trilogy is pretty good so far. Winterbirth went from good to better as the plot/characters developed. I am a few chapters into book two, Bloodheir. So far, so good.

Thank you for mentioning Erwin Rommel, one of the unsung heroes of WWII. The guy was Anti NSDAP, an officer and a gentelman - a personification of a "good German". And by the way, kielbasa - not a German term (not that is matters, just want to be an asshole).
