By Turin are you referring to Turin Turambar of Tolkien fame?
That would be a fantastic matchup. They both share some similarities, such as the whole sibling incest thing (though in the case of Turin it was entirely an accident).

As much as I love ASOIAF and Game of Thrones, I know that the Reaper will rise against his Golden enemies. In other words, Jaime and Brienne are toast.
"if your heart beats like a drum and your leg's a little wet, it's 'cause the Reaper's come to collect a little debt"
Yeah sure... a world that has wonky physics (extremely weird seasons and therefore astronomical conditions) and where death is increasingly less meaningful for those who just have the right spiritual support would of course let those fancy Scifi boys keep their nifty little tech trinkets intact and not allow to revive Jaime and Brienne every time they get killed...
Also: a cagefight is ALWAYS melee and knights are damned good under those conditions, even one-handed ones (and the Suvudu lady kind of retconned that by "let's assume it's a young Jaime" or something similar to justify her mention of him crawling back to Cersei's bed in the rhyme...) while it would limit the hardware the other two dudes could carry into the arena.
A kingslayer should have little more trouble with a god, should he?

They can't lose! They are Jaime and Brienne! They need to survive their cage match and the Song of Ice and Fire together so we have a least one happy ending!
