How many months has it been?? I have been completely and utterly AWOL, and for that I want to apologise! I also want to apologise for the comments that have languished unanswered--I tried several times to respond to various people only to have my answers swallowed by Livejournal ( Read more... )

No crises of the horrific, rip-life-apart kind, just the general, low-level, un-tenured-professor-with-a-small-child-perpetual-sleep-deprivation kind! :) If only I had more time, I wouldn't have anything to complain about.

I hope things with you are well! I haven't done more than glance down one screen of LJ--it seems too overwhelming to do more.

Thanks! I certainly find reviews encouraging, though I don't imagine that I'm alone in doing so. I'm feeling pretty excited about starting to post the story, actually. :)

Yes, fanfiction.net. :) I'm so thrilled that you're excited. It won't be until mid-November, because I've a conference and two papers to give between now and then. It's actually kind of nice to think about Phoenix Flame as the light at the end of that particular tunnel.

Oh, I definitely am very excited. :) I figure, if you're breaking your usual no-WIPs rule, so will I -- I don't usually read 'em (had my heart broken too many times!), but I will make an exception for you and Phoenix Flame. ♥ Because you're awesome. :D
