those who enjoyed reading this story (I still can't imagine why,
I sort of have a deadline to write my first original novel
Looking at those two fragments in context, if you were not the writer but, instead, a random person who just happened to read those two clauses, perhaps the reason why people enjoyed reading your story might leap out and smack you in the head (sort of like a V-8 commercial...) Or, to be more blunt, someone who is capable of capturing the interest of publishers re a first novel should not honestly be bewildered as to why the Glee fandom would be ever so thrilled to read anything you were nice enough to give us to read...
And what is even nicer is that once it became clear to you that the story would not be finished, you gave the readers a summary (which, I promise you, is not the norm for any other stories that I've read that suddenly stopped as WIPs. The others' just ended, point blank, and after say six months or so, it became clear that there was not going to be any follow up

Thank you so much, Pam. I don't know why I avoided Livejournal for this long, when I know you probably commented and a few others. I think I just originally felt bad about not finishing the story, and then life/other writings got way too busy. But I thought today was finally the day to comment back, and I cannot thank you enough for all of your encouragement. Truly, you are the best cheerleader ever. I hope all is going well. <3
congratulations on the original novel! that's really great :) thanks for the summary - i'm sad you couldn't finish it, because i really enjoyed your writing style and imagination and the story itself was great, but i totally understand falling out of love with a fandom.
You have a deadline to write an original novel. Why does this not surprise me? =) You're an amazing writer and I wish you all the best in your endeavor. You will tell us when it's published and give us the necessary information to find it yes? Cuz I will definitely buy it and read it, yes I will!
Thank you for the summary, I'm sure it would have been a wonderful angsty read but that's okay. At least I have this. I do kinda hope you finish Strangers as I've been reading it and enjoying it a lot. But I'll understand if it has to fall by the wayside.
You take care and write your beautiful great American novel. =)
You have also been one of the best cheerleaders ever. Thank you forever for all of your comments. The deadline got set back and I've gotten some leeway in what parts I want to tell, but I will find you back here and tell you when it's published. <3
