those who enjoyed reading this story (I still can't imagine why,
I sort of have a deadline to write my first original novel
Looking at those two fragments in context, if you were not the writer but, instead, a random person who just happened to read those two clauses, perhaps the reason why people enjoyed reading your story might leap out and smack you in the head (sort of like a V-8 commercial...) Or, to be more blunt, someone who is capable of capturing the interest of publishers re a first novel should not honestly be bewildered as to why the Glee fandom would be ever so thrilled to read anything you were nice enough to give us to read...
And what is even nicer is that once it became clear to you that the story would not be finished, you gave the readers a summary (which, I promise you, is not the norm for any other stories that I've read that suddenly stopped as WIPs. The others' just ended, point blank, and after say six months or so, it became clear that there was not going to be any follow up.)
You, remain, as always, a Goddess, and I hope that you let people know when you are published as I would consider it a privilege to shell out big bucks (or medium-sized ones) to read anything you've written.
Leaving you with love and lots of luck (which is completely unnecessary but what the hell...),
Thank you so much, Pam. I don't know why I avoided Livejournal for this long, when I know you probably commented and a few others. I think I just originally felt bad about not finishing the story, and then life/other writings got way too busy. But I thought today was finally the day to comment back, and I cannot thank you enough for all of your encouragement. Truly, you are the best cheerleader ever. I hope all is going well. <3
