A fond and very painful goodbye

I hate posting sad things here.  But I wanted to record this mainly for myself so that I could remember what I was feeling when I wrote it.  My father passed away last Sunday.  He was 82 years old and had a massive heart attack.  He did not suffer at all, it seems.  For that I am pleased, but I will miss him and his words of wisdom.  It is still

I'm so sorry! Just doesn't matter how old you or they are - I don't think anyone is ready to let a parent go! I'm surely not.

I'm glad he went in peace and didn't suffer!

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's a blessing tha the didn't suffer - that's all any of us can ask for.
