Our friend Arnaud is visiting from France for the next week.  I haven't seen him in four years, and it's good to catch up. He arrived late yesterday, and after he went to sleep, I stayed up later because a friend wasn't doing well.  (Sadly, said friend will be spending a couple of days in a psych ward--let's hope it's a short stay.)  Anyway, I ( Read more... )

Sounds like you guys had a good day! Nothing wrong with sleeping in or being lazy, in my opinion anyway.

I haven't seen a Will Smith movie in forever. Rented I Am Legend but everyone said it was scary so I just didn't find a moment to watch it. Hear good preliminary things about Hancock, so who knows?

And you've got a mouser on your hands! I should have known by the way she tried to pounce on the sunlight on the walls. :-) Tilda is so cute. And at least she brings them in dead. What's not cute is when they are running around inside loose. Seriously. Besides, she's so smart you could probably train her to leave them outside.

Have a great week!

Sadly, neither of the mice were dead at first. The second one might have gotten away, because I made her drop it outside, but the first one definitely did not. Tilda batted it around our living room for a bit. And then, most hard core moment: there was a dab of blood on the floor, and after I had disposed of her victim, she went and licked at it.

Predatrix indeed.

Hurrah for successful social interaction! ;)

Seriously, I quite enjoyed this day with you and our friends. I'm glad you did too. Oh, and btw, I totally gave you props for stepping up and letting me get away with being the girl and not have to deal with the dead mouse corpse. (EWWW!)

ILU.
