The Harry Potter Musical: ideas for musical numbers
Some ideas me and my friend came up with today:
-Sirius, while in Azkaban: Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson
-the final battle/epilogue: see my parody of Bohemian Rhapsody, Hogwartian Rhapsody, by Queen/me
-Voldemort singing about his horcruxes: Who Wants To Live Forever? (Me!) by Queen
-the search in Gringotts: a dance based on the children's UK book cover
-Snape during the killing of Dumbledore: Half-Breed (or in this case, Half-Blood) by Cher
-Dumbledore talks about being gay: "The Candy Man" from the original Willy Wonka
-Pettigrew: a parody of "U + Ur Hand" called "My Silver Hand" by Pink
-Harry/Ginny moments: I Need A Hero by Bonnie Tyler
-Voldemort on how much he hates Harry: "Fame" parody, "Pain," from the musical of the same name
-Lockhart's big number: "I Feel Pretty" from West Side Story
You guys should come up with your own and tell me what you think!
