I LIKE John. *puts* John's awesomely teenagerishly sulky.

But yeah, this ep was awesome. I wanted Lauren to stick around. She was so cute! And how's she going to take care of Cindy, all on her lonesome?

Heh. John is seesaws between my liking him and my desire to shake him.

I do wonder how Lauren will take care of her sister too. She should have stayed with the Connors!

I think teenagers are like that, though.

Maybe, but at least they survive, we've seen that.

if I may ask, what do you mean by Western? as in cowboy music?
need to think on that.

btw...it's "crass jokes" not "crash jokes".
(though it becomes a double meaning since you ride a car, and people (though not you) crash cars).

Oh, d'oh! Of course. I meant crass *facepalm*.

*nods* Yep, cowboy music.

no worries - it's an easy mistake to make. (the s/sh difference isn't easy for anyone anywhere)

ah. hm...Jim Croce? some of his songs might be useful.
(drat, I think this is the one time I can't suggest Sertab Erener)

Honestly, I hated everything about AFTER THE FALL. I disliked the drawings and the story (Wesley just so easily coming back from the dead?), pretty much everything about it. I couldn't read more than three issues.

As for Buffy Season 8, while it's definitely disappointing, I sort of enjoyed reading the first 18(?) issues, because the typical Whedon humor was there. Of course if the real show had continued that way, it would have sucked big time, but in gerenal I found that series more satisfying than AFTER THE FALL. The Faith arc kicked ass.

Really? That's a surprise but I suppose YMMV.

The Faith arc was fascinating but I'm disappointed at how they're writing my girl Buffy.

Yeah, they're lacking Cameron here I wonder if it means because we'll have a Cameron-centric episode next?

Seriously, if I was the type of person who always thought about crossovers this would start the plotbunnies hopping.

Oh, wait.

LOL.

But yeah that was pretty much my fave ep this season. W00t.
