TSCC - Alpine Fields

OMG. Lauren is awesome! Now I kinda wished that Lauren was the Chosen One. She was so much better than John Connor.

They finally answered the question about Jessie's accent. Australians have submarines and veggies! Clearly Jessie should have stayed in the sub and in Oz.

But mostly, if the show is mostly made up of Sarah, Cameron, Lauren and Derek I'd so watch that.

BTW, Life and Sarah Connor Chronicles connection is getting stronger, not only is there the 'Reese' confusion (for me) they even had an episode about an innocent man going to Pelican Bay and then they have Cameron quoting Zen. Seriously, if I was the type of person who always thought about crossovers this would start the plotbunnies hopping.

Oh, wait.

Buffy S8 comics are disappointing me something fierce especially after I've defended it, Angel: After the Fall on the other hand has been living up to expectation and the characters acting like the characters. The Buffy S8 characters are acting juvenile and in a way that's a real back step for every character involved.

I think it's one thing I don't like about Joss as it pertains to how he writes the Buffy characters, it's that he doesn't let them grow-up and mature. He always makes them return and make the same mistake in grander and grander scales. Ever since BtVS moved to UPN I've come to the conclusion that sometimes Joss & Co. needs the restrictions. It makes them more inventive also it prevents the juvenile very crash jokes like: 'Ridden hard, put away wet.'

Because, really, Joss? Really?

Buffy S8 has interesting ideas... particularly about Buffy and Willow's growing rift and Willow's fate in the hands of Buffy.

On the other hand, compared to the story Angel: After the Fall is telling... it's just well.. juvenile while Angel's story continues to be epic. C'mon, LA stuck in hell, Angel human and will apparently be the general/engineer/cause of the big epic war between Good & Evil, a dragon named Cordelia... the end of everything? EPIC.

And it's a comic NOT written by Joss.

Yet, I know Joss can write good comics, I liked his run in Marvel. I liked his Firefly series, where he did a decent job writing adult, mature heroes.

BTW, does anyone know a good Western inspired music? Set to rock music, pop or etc...?

buffy, tv
